As the founder and CEO of Rainmaker Global Business Development, Clark Grue’s success has been built on his impressive talent for developing unique connections and aptitude for identifying lucrative business opportunities for Rainmaker’s clients. Connecting timely opportunities in the extractives industries with innovative companies seeking new market verticals or geographies has become Rainmaker’s unique service offering.
In 1999, after serving as a Vice President with Network Innovations, Clark was chosen to launch the British Trade and Investment Office in Alberta, establishing this first-of-its-kind British representation in a foreign market. In 2004, Clark joined Calgary Economic Development where he played a lead role in rebuilding the organization, guiding its expansion in one of Canada’s fastest growing and most dynamic cities.
Among Clark’s many leadership skills, several of his professional achievements centre on finding the right people and motivating them towards a common goal. In 2005, he worked with Imperial Oil to move its head office from Toronto to Calgary, efficiently managing several teams through complex situations to a successful outcome. His passion for people and for building organizations led to Clark being named one of Calgary’s “Top 40 Under 40” in 2005.
Clark continues to bring his passion for people and fostering business growth and expansion together at Rainmaker. Supported by a strong team from a variety of sectors and a Board of Directors with deep experience and networks, the organization is dedicated to building and implementing effective strategies for global market expansion for its clients.

Tulio is an international business executive with over 15 years experience in global business development. He has led successful overseas market expansion programs in China, Latin America, the Caribbean, the United States and Canada.
Tulio’s experience includes managing successful global market expansion initiatives, directing new business development programs, supervising international sales and marketing programs and assisting companies with their strategic corporate planning. As a strategic thinker, his focus is on identifying, qualifying and securing superior business opportunities for Canadian and International firms seeking to expand into new geographic markets. Tulio has a well-earned reputation for cultivating and maintaining key international business relationships. He employs his international business development knowledge and skill set to help Rainmaker clients navigate through the complexities and hazards of foreign market expansion.
Originally from Chile, Tulio brings a depth of experience and knowledge of South American markets. He leads Rainmaker’s initiative to better connect Canadian and International firms to superior opportunities in Central and South America.
Since joining the Rainmaker team in 2012, Tulio has worked with both small and Fortune 500 firms in guiding their successful market expansion programs into Canada and Latin America. His broad expertise includes working with clients in the energy, construction, real estate development and manufacturing industries. As the VP of Business Development, specifically for the Global Markets Expansion Division, Tulio oversees all of Rainmaker’s business development work using his experience and expertise to help Rainmaker clients improve their market expansion success.
