History

When Clark Grue, Lois Mitchell and Tim Kozmyk met, they bought together over 80 years of experience in business strategy, investment attraction and international trade.

They began building the foundations of one of the world’s leading business strategy organizations, and when Rainmaker was officially formed in 2007, at its core was a wealth of strategic business knowledge and experience connecting businesses and organizations to create opportunities for economic and business growth.

Expanding services into London, the business focused on opportunities between Canada and the UK. Just a year later, in 2008, new offices were created in Houston and Dubai solidifying Rainmakers links with the oil and gas industry. New York and Toronto offices followed in 2010 and brought increased connectivity to the financial services, consumer products and economic development sectors. Finally, in 2011 the newest Rainmaker office opened in Brussels, bringing increased exposure to the European and government sectors.

Today the Rainmaker global team offers a tremendous strategic resource to its clients around the world. Our networks of business professionals identify and capitalize on global business opportunities, building their clients exposure and reach into new and existing markets.

Throughout its evolution, Rainmaker has honed its service offering to become a world-class provider of market entry, investment attraction strategy, business support services and event production.
